Feel It to Free It: Why Your Emotional Literacy Shapes Your Entire Life

You were taught how to read words.
You were taught how to solve problems, pass exams, get the job done.
But let me ask you something more important:
Were you ever taught how to read yourself?
To read your fear?
Your anger?
Your heartbreak?
Your joy?
Most of us weren’t.
We were taught to manage emotions, to mute them, to “stay positive” or “get over it.”
We were never shown that every feeling we have is a language — a message from the soul, not a flaw to be hidden.
And so, we grew up emotionally underfed.
We became adults who can write essays and build businesses but can’t name the storm inside our chest.
We became humans who react, collapse, or explode — not because we're broken, but because no one taught us how to feel cleanly, wisely, fully.
This is emotional illiteracy.
And it quietly erodes the life you’re trying to build.
Because if you can't read your own fear, how will you ever calm it?
If you can't name your anger, how will you ever channel it?
If you can't recognise your joy, how will you ever expand it?
You will be at the mercy of your emotions, riding waves you don’t understand, thinking you are powerless — when in reality, you were never powerless.
You were just unread.
Emotional literacy changes everything.
It means no longer fearing your own feelings.
It means knowing the difference between a passing storm and a sacred boundary.
It means decoding your inner life with skill, not shame.
It’s the difference between bracing for life… and becoming fluent in it.
It’s the difference between surviving — and actually living.
That’s what this series, Feel It to Free It, is here to ignite.
One emotion at a time, we’ll decode:
What it really feels like
What it’s energetically signalling
Whether it's opening you up or closing you off
How to reframe it so you can move, not stay stuck
Not to control your feelings.
Not to pretend you’re “high vibe” when you’re drowning inside.
But to understand them.
To honour them.
To free yourself through them.
So let me ask you:
When was the last time you sat still long enough to feel what’s really there?
When was the last time you honoured your anger, your envy, your joy — without running, judging, or numbing?
If you had to grade yourself on emotional literacy right now, would you pass?
This series is your invitation to finally learn the language of you.
Because the life you want isn't found in feeling "better."
It’s found in feeling everything — and knowing what to do with it.
Stay with me.
It’s time to Feel It to Free It.

Unfolding and becoming all the time...
